History lovers will be thrilled not only by the hotel’s Georgian architecture, but by historical references throughout. The 45 rooms and suites were individually re-designed, plasterwork ceilings restored, and period features protected. Every room has been artfully curated to give it a distinctive character, with classic antique pieces such as four-poster beds or roll top baths. All of the suites have been named after famous Bath residents, including Lord Nelson, Gainsborough, Brinsley Sheridan, Eliza Lucas and Elizabeth Linley.
